Located at 1900' elevation on the slopes of Haleakala, Maui, Kupa'a Farms grows a wide range of organic vegetables, fruits, and a fine blend of Brazilian catuai and kona typica coffees. Kupa'a (koo pa ah) means "firm" or "steadfast" in Hawaiian and describes the hard soil on our farm and our determination to amend and enrich it. The land was first cleared for corn and asparagus in 1979, and the farm went organic in 2003. Our farming principles are "rock solid" and sustainable.
